Do you feel out of control with him so that you seem to have lost your ‘mind’ in the sense that he is the one dictating what you believe, think etc? Another on line danger sign is extreme possessiveness. Is he always hounding you about your ability and willingness to cheat on him? Does he insist on an hour by hour account of your day? Does it sound off? Here you have to rely on your instincts to understand if what he is asking goes beyond acceptable behaviour. Do not be flattered if he seems very possessive of you, it may signal an insecure man that will want to dominate you and crush your self esteem.

Another side of the manipulation and possessiveness is a man who is always putting you through an emotional rollercoaster. Do you feel like he puts you through an emotional escalator so that you are always either really low or really high emotionally when you spend time with him? You feel emotionally unbalanced all the time. You may not be in love; he may just be yanking your chain. Tread carefully!
