Anthony Signed

The Packers signed Anthony Smith yesterday. Isn’t it about time they did something in free agency?
I was starting to think Mike McCarthy was thinking 6-10 was acceptable.
As you all know, I’m not a Packers fan. This question was a jab at Thompson for being idle in the FA signing period and then finally picking up a second string safety. i think the Pack is in for a long season.
Your reading my thoughts Bevo. I’ve been wondering when Free Agency was going to finally occur with Green Bay, still waiting unfortunately. I blame Ted Thompson for our lack of progress this offseason, this isn’t the first time where he has just hoarded our cash. Look at the Brett Favre situation, he certainly didn’t go all out to keep him from signing with New York.
Mike McCarthy is a good coach and certainly wouldn’t be a happy man with our teams performance last season. The offense was pretty decent in my opinion, but the defense fell apart quickly. As for Anthony Smith, I think it is a good signing from Pittsburgh. Atari Bigby and Nick Collins aren’t the youngest guys in the NFL and it is good to know we have a replacement for either of them if they get injured next season. I also hope we choose wisely in the draft, we need a decent defensive move and hopefully one more signing between now and then.
GO PACK GO!
