who is Jack Cassel the picture?

The Astros signed former padres picture Jack Cassel………..who is he? and how good is he?

Cassel was 1-1 with a 3.97 ERA in six games (four starts) for the San Diego Padres last season. The 27-year-old right-hander also made 24 starts for Triple-A Portland, going 7-14 with a 3.91 ERA.

I doubt that he has any great promise or the Padres would have kept him for $400,000( that’s how much Houston gave him).
