Just bought a 110cc semi auto Lifan motor for my Honda C90 & need help?
I’ve just purchased a Lifan 110cc semi-auto motor for my 1974 Honda C90 Super Cub. The new motor is 12volts, however the electrical system on the CUB is 6volts.
What I would like to know is: Is it possible, to somehow to change the 12v coming from the motor into 6volts without mush fuss???

That’s a 6volt regulator to run on the Lifan’s 12v generator
If your new Lifan has 12V electric start,,,of course it wont work on 6v
Some folks upgrade the entire bike to 12v.
There are advantages to doing that,,,but Cost and simplicity are not among them.
A Decent C90 is worth the cost and work to convert to 12V,,,in my opinion.
And if you ride it much at night,,,a 12v headlite is an Amazing upgrade
In any case,,,they do well with the 6v regulator
Look around that website,,,it has a good bit of useful info you may find helpful
