Will Rockstar ever release a UK based version of their popular Grand Theft Auto game?

Wouldn’t it be cool if Rockstar released a Grand Theft Auto UK version of their game? I know they released a GTA London before in the birds eye view style games, but I would like to leave that matter aside in this question! It would be fun to actually drive on the left hand side of the road which people here are more familiar with and drive around in European style cars? Are rockstar ever going to do this?

Well the founders of Rockstar are Scottish, so i think they will do a GTA in the future in the UK, i say future because GTA is one of those games where you could make 100 and they still would be fresh so i can see the franchise going on for many years.

Being English i would like to see one, however i think the best one would be GTA Australia. It would be nice to have countryside (like on San Andres again) and have a couple of big cities as well. I think You could have three big cities (like three islands) but the difference is, they are separated by the out back giving the player a chance to just mess around in the desert or just kick back in Sydney. However, i can see the next one being another American city again, mabe LA or Washington.
