How can I remove part of an autograph from an 8×10 glossy picture done with black marker?

I have an autographed picture addressed to someone else. I would like to remove the name but keep the autograph intact for hanging on wall purposes.

Take it to someone who does restoration and they can scan the photo in and remove the undesirable part of the signature and even print it out on glossy paper.

If you are feeling creative, scan it in yourself and use a phot editing program to do it yourself. It’s not really that hard with a program like Photoshop.
