Is there a way I can meet my favourite player outside or in Wimbledon?

I’ve been a fan of Venus Williams now for a long time and I’m dying to meet her and to try and get her autograph or a photo with her. She is the only reason why I watch and enjoy tennis, she is just great! Is there any possible way I can meet her whilst she’s in the UK? She’ll be back in America soon and I feel that this is my only available chance before having to wait another year again! PLEASE HELP!

Wimbledon has a fan zone that includes a booth for player autographs throughout the tournament. Every day there will be a list of tennis players and the times they will be at the booth. There you may get your autograph – the line is always VERY long though. Sometimes it takes 30min-1hr to get your autograph.

A photo may be unlikely for security reasons. I’ve never seen anyone take a photo with a player at a booth. If she isn’t at the booth, walk around the courts and see if she is practicing. There will probably be a very large crowd because Venus is such a prominent figure, so you gotta push and shove your way to make sure she notices you.
