How much did Babe Ruth weigh at his heaviest?

I just read on wikipedia that he was 6 foot 2 and weighed 254 at his heaviest. That is too hard to believe. Im 5 foot 9 and weight 275 and Im not even fat at all. Babe Ruth looked very obese. How much did he really weigh?

Babe when he was a younger player, was 6’2″ weighing about 185 lbs. When he came over to the Yankees earlier in his career, he was still in good shape weighing between 200-225 lbs. That was the Babe at his best when he was breaking all the records. Later in his career about 1930-35 his weight was between 240-260 or so even though he did spend time at the gym and lost some weight in the off season. So I believe around 260 was actually about his heaviest.
