Many States are represented by teams in the league and have acquired many followers. The Los Angeles Dodgers is the most recognized team in the league. The rich background of the team makes the rather very interesting to most people. The team was started and formed in 1883. They were originally stationed in New York. The team moved to Los Angeles only in 1958. The very first Dodgers tickets were first sold in 1932 because the team was under many different unofficial names before that year.

Another New York based team is the closest rival of the team since their creation. The team has been the closest rival of the Giants. Their rivalry is the longest in the league’s history and is anticipated by many. To maintain the rivalry between the two teams going, both teams transferred to California in 1958. The Dodgers were in Los Angeles while the Giants were in San Francisco. As the rivalry between the two teams was preserved, the sale of the Dodger tickets boomed. In the MBL, the two teams are also tied with their records. Both team has been given 21 pennants each. These pennants are given to the best team in a season.

The Dodgers tickets are patronized by many because the team is the best in the league. The team has won six World Series championships already. Apart from that, they also have 11 division titles. Because of performance like that, the team has received many support from the fans.

Another commendable act the team did was employing the very first African American in their roster. Jackie Robinson was the very first African American to have played in a sport played by whites. Not many people were willing to introduce integration during that time. However, the General Manager of the team still pushed forward and the team was the first to do so. Because of what the team did, many teams in the major professional sports in the United States followed soon.

Many people know that the Dodgers is the best team in the MBL. This is not only because of their great plays on the field. It is also because of what the team has been doing of it. Their great contribution not only to baseball but to the sports in general will always be honored.
