Can I become a professional golfer?
I just turned 23 years old. I grew up playing baseball and bowling, only playing golf 3-4 times a year at the most. I have actually competed professionally in bowling and hold one PBA tour title. Bowling just doesn’t pay well even for some of the best in the world. Just within the last 6 months I have started playing more golf and begun to shoot in the mid 70′s consistently. I have never had a lesson and I have never been fitted for a set of clubs. I know from reading that it is very tough to shave the strokes to get under par but I feel like I know nothing about the game except put the ball in the hole. I know I lose strokes around the green just from not having the experience of playing much. My experience in competing on the PBA tour has taught me how to stay focused mentally and how to perform under pressure. Just wanted some feedback as to whether or not I should think of making a run at it.
you have talent for golf. but now your golf performance is far from pro. so you have take paining to practice and learn more skills.
