could the dolphins be contenders in 2008 if………?
or at least a respectable team if they trade the #1 overall pick to the cowboys for their two #1′s(1 from the browns)

Martin Rucker; TE; mizzou
the dolphins were great against the pass in 07 but sucked against the run and thats where dan connor comes in. they were also pretty bad when it came to throwing the ball where adarius bowman and martin rucker come in, both are tall and should have great pro careers. picking up jones speaks for itself. having felix jones and ronnie brown in the same back field means great things.
They would be better but they have bigger needs than 4 players could fill.
I would worry about these.
- Upgrade the OL. Nobody is running or throwing behind this line.
- Upgrade the WR. Gotta have someone to throw to again.
- Rebuild the defense at almost every position because its old and thin. I would trade Taylor and Thomas for younger players and draft picks while they are worth something. By the time this team is good they will be retired or worth nothing.
