AdvoCare Investigation-AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge? They Win I Lose?

Have you heard about the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge? What does it mean? The AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge is both a product (actually several products) and a challenge. What’s it for? Well, what’s in the package you would have to assume the company says you could lose some weight. The AdvoCare website actually says “you may enjoy some weight loss as well”.

The only thing I’ve ever seen occur in such a short period of time is the addition of a habit. That may be a good habit, may be a bad habit. We’ll calculate and get to the truth in this AdvoCare review so let’s get into it.

AdvoCare- History and Leadership

AdvoCare was established in 1993 in Carollton, Texas by Charlie Ragus who died in 2001 at the age of 58. Charlie was an insurance salesman after college. Then after stints in real estate and a family business he is said to have found his avocation in direct sales. He joined Herbalife in 1983 and became a very successful distributor.

He begun  his own direct sales company in 1989 and sold it after a short time to retire. He returned to work in 1993 by starting AdvoCare which means an advocate who cares. Today AdvoCare is run by CEO and President Richard H. Wright.

AdvoCare-The Products

AdvoCare has had it’s share of growing pains with it’s products which I don’t have the space here to go into. I will say though that most, if not all, nutrition based multi level marketing companies have their share of troubles with individuals and the government which is exactly why I don’t get involved with those types of companies.

AdvoCare has about 60 products in five product categories including skincare, weight management, energy, balanced nutrition and advanced sports nutrition. Drew Brees, the quarterback of the New Orleans Saints became AdvoCare’s national spokesman in 2010. In fact AdvoCare has pro athlete and coach endorsers in 16 various sports. I don’t know if they’re paid or not.

The AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge is a multi pack of products calculated to cleanse your body of toxins in days 1-10 and in days 11-24 to keep your body as healthy as possible and possibly even lose some weight. Like I said in the intro it basically takes 18-30 days to form a new habit. If nothing else maybe you can foster healthier habits for your desired new lifestyle.

AdvoCare-Getting Started and The Compensation Plan

There are several levels at which you can get involved and purchase products with AdvoCare. First of course is retail which you don’t have to join to do. If you want to enter as a distributor but only plan to use the products yourself you can get a 20% discount. As a distributor who shares the products it’s a 20-40% discount. The business opportunity level, which is what you’re here for, is to become an AdvoCare Advisor which provides a forty percent discount.

Whether its AdvoCare or whatever company you decide to place your trust in your biggest concern and challenge will be in marketing your opportunity. If you just want to bag a couple of bucks you can probably get by with sharing with your family and friends. If you want to build a business you WILL need a proven attraction marketing system.
