who agrees with me that the refs were horrible in game #1?
it seemed like they wanted the flyers to win!! brent seabrook was cleary high sticked by richards, kane was tripped, toews was held, niemi’s stick was held. i saw all of those penalties clearly and none were called, it was so bad i wanted the refs to be investigated for cheating!!!
Finally, Bettman Loves the Flyers/Phuck the Habs and Flyers (I’d change my name too if I were that high profile) has a slight piece of evidence!!! Yes CHI-8 PIM v. PHI-0 PIM should have been different. There were plenty off missed calls. Dave is a typical ignorant fan. Just begging for a sign that they should have won just like Bettman Loves the Flyers/Phuck the Habs and Flyers. He should also know that boarding is never called at the same time as hit from behind. He would know that it is one or the other, since they are basically the same thing just on the boards, if he wasn’t such a bandwagoning hockey fan.
But it wasn’t THAT bad anyway. There is always a noticable slight edge from the refs to one team. A good hockey fan realizes that referees run the games the way they want to.
BTW, Chicago won. Don’t complain until something actually costs a win. Not even then. Us Chicago fans, and I mean all sports, are some of the classiest, even though we drink a lot. We greet opponents and visiting fans, only heckling respectfully and jokingly while realizing they are just supporting another team. Please keep it this way and show some dignity in Chicago sports.
