Signing up for a credit card, I don’t want my contact info added to marketing lists. How do I do this?
I’ve been VERY successful at stopping and staying off marketing mailing list. I need a credit card but want to make sure I don’t get added to more lists. I understand they will have privacy policy stating they will not share personal information. Is there anything else I need or look for? Have any suggests on who I should use?

Since you’ve been successful at staying off mailing lists, I presume you know this, but just in case…Most banks’ privacy policies state that you agree to their sharing your information UNLESS you opt out. So be sure to send back the form with the opt out box checked.
Also, I got my credit card companies to stop calling me and sending me offers for credit protection, travel clubs, and cash advance checks by calling and asking to be put on a “do not solicit” list. It’s worked very well.
