How long does it take to get your Indian card?
I’ve heard that being Native American could help me greatly, but I dont have the roll card, and neither do my parents. Does anyone know how long it takes to get it if I get all the info I need?
And I am 1/8, Ive heard its up to 1/16 that you can get aid for school, but the websites i have looked at say 50%…. anyone have any idea?
Why aren’t your parents enrolled? And what do you mean they don’t have “the roll card”. What does that mean??? You have to show descent from an enrolled tribal member AND meet enrollment requirements/criteria of your tribe (which you didn’t even think was important to mention)…. Does ANYONE in your family have tribal affiliation that you could ask? If not, then I would highly doubt your claim…and more than likely you have a standard Indian Blood Myth…you will not be receiving “your Indian card.”
Gotta have documentation to claim 1/8. This wannabeism…it is out of control. And it isn’t about bennies anyway. GET DANG LOANS like I did…and all the skinz I went to school with. Jeeeezus.
Does not having a tribal card NOT make you Indian?
