Carlos Delgado

What position did Carlos Delgado play for his first few seasons in Toronto?
He was an outfielder for the most part. He caught once or twice a season and played DH occasionally, but he was usually an outfielder.
I know people will say catcher, but he gave up catching duties almost completely when he made it to the major leagues.
