1. Art Monk- Was the 1st round pick in 1980, by the Washington Redskins, and had 13000 all purpose yards and 68 Touchdowns in a 16 season career. It is insane that he hasn’t made the HOF yet.
2. Lance Alworth- Drafted: Was the 2nd round pick in 1962, by the San Diego Chargers, and had over 10,000 yards recieving and 85 touchdowns in a “breif” 11 year career. He has accomplished huge amounts, and its a wonder how today’s generation seems to take the “Who the hell is that?” approach to this guy. If you average his season totals and TD #’s with a guy like Largent, he would easily have passed him by his 16th year pro.
3. Steve Largent- Drafted: was the 4th round pick in 1976, by the Houston Oilers, and had 13,000 yards and 100 TDS in a 16 year career. Clearly a great reciever that deserves more recognition.
