What is the best way to get to a Cubs game?

I live in Indianapolis and enjoy going to Cubs games but I hate paying $30-40 to park and then spending 2 hours trying to get out of Chicago. What would be the best course of action to get my family of 5 to the game without going through that hassle. I know there is a train that goes right by Wrigley, but I don’t know the station to go to or any of the details. Also, is it safe? I have 3 children under 7. What about a bus? How much would a taxi cost? Thanks for your help.

Just go downstairs as the Cubs are usually in the basement.
