Will a funds transfer the same day cover an overdraft?

Two debit transactions on a Saturday ( non-banking day) were small overdrafts. I have overdraft protection, but there is still a charge. I transfered funds into the account later in the evening. Will I be charged for the overdrafts when the bank straightens it out on Monday?

Depends on the bank. Some banks count everything at the end of the day, some go by the time of day.
