Bush has funded stem cell research, and is the first president to have funded embryonic stem cell research, on lines that were already in existence. Funding continues on , but he made it quite clear that he would not fund the destruction of any more embryos for research.

Embryonic stem cells are only one type of stem cell, and they’ve found they can emulate the embryonic stem cells using other stem cells, so it is no longer necessary to destroy embryos to do that research.

I don’t understand why people haven’t made themselves aware of all this.
