Science Fair, 8th Grade, What are the differences between Canine and Human DNA?

I want to test this, but I don’t know how. Does anyone have any ideas?
For the experiment part of the Scientific Method. How would you test this if you were an 8th grader?

That is a great question to ask but unfortunately it is probably outside of the resources you have access to. If you are able to test this, a local university would be your best bet. If you were able to run PCR on certain genes you would be able to show how much they differ, examine karyotypes for chromosomal number differences…etc. Best of luck to you and keep asking questions.
