Cincinnati Reds fans, how do you feel about having Dusty Baker as manger?

Okay this question is for Cincinnati Reds fans, so let’s see how many of you that are out there. I know that Andrew Meedles, (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) but anyways I know that is one, but how do you feel about having Dusty Baker, who has previously served as manger for the San Franisco Giants, and Chicago Cubs who last season with the Chicago Cubs was in 2006, in which they finished with a record of 55-96, and it was too bad that he couldn’t have added his carrer with the Chicago Cubs, like he did with the Giants. But I am glad to see that he is getting another chance to mange again, and who wants to end thier manger carrier with that record? But how do you feel about Dusty Baker getting hired as the new manger of the Chicago Cubs, who is the ifrst man to be hired outside of the team since Lou Piniella was in 1990, and today that is what these 2 mangers have in common, for both manging the Cubs and the Reds.

Well first of all, thank god we didn’t stay in the organization yet again because no one, besides Jack McKeon and Davey Johnson, has managed to do much with this team since our last World Series. I am not happy with Dusty Baker being our manager, but it’s not because of anything that most people have said. I don’t think you can blame Dusty for overusing pitchers. Last year, both of our managers had to do that because our bullpen was absolutely the worst in the league. Dusty used Wood and Prior more than needed because Chicago hasn’t had a good bullpen since Mitch Williams was there. The guy did what he had to do to win. Dusty, even though he has won two manager of the year awards, is very overrated. He relies more on veterans and I feel that Votto and Bruce, he should be starting this year in my opinion, will get stuck behind Hatteberg and Freel. I have watched some games where Baker made questionable managerial decisions, besides leaving pitchers in too long. I also am still offended on Baker being racist (his comments in the past about how white baseball players aren’t biologically conditioned to play in the really hot weather as African American and Hispanic baseball players). Dusty is also a little more old fashioned in his managing style than what I would be comfortable with. I was really shocked the price that they paid for Dusty and the years, but I understand they wanted to have some stability. This team is a very good team and they have four prospects ranked in the top 50 in baseball to go along with one of the best pitchers, second baseman, and also one of the all time greatest players. This team can win the whole thing. If Baker can lead this team, I’ll take back everything I said. However if we endure yet another losing season, I’ll know once again its because of our manager. Hey Cubbies, how about we swap former managers? You give us Piniella back and we’ll trade you back Baker.
