On a rating of 0-10 how much of this weeks signings re-signings on this list surprised you?
1) Mariano Rivera re-signing with the Yankees
2) Red Sox get Adrian Gonzalez from the Padres
3) Derek Jeter re-signing with the Yanks
4) Adam Dunn signing with the White Sox.
5) Jayson Werth signs with the Nationals.
1. 0, knew it would happen. Though I was kind of surprised to hear the Red Sox put in an offer for him
.2. Well the first time about a 4, because I thought they would maybe wait till during the season or after 2011. The second time, a 7. Was confident they’d eventually be able to figure something out, but that was faster than I expected. Whirlwind of a day!
3. 1, like Rivera knew it would eventually happen but from the drama the past few weeks thought there was a tiny chance it wouldn’t.
4. 3, wasn’t so surprising, heard they were in the running.
5. 10. I’m still amazed.
