How do you go about getting a hockey player’s autograph?

Last time I was at a Caps game, I noticed a bunch of people wearing jerseys with signatures on them. How did they get them?

Several ways, the easiest is going to a team’s practice. I know the Bruins (i live near boston) have open practices to the public. If you show up, you can talk to the players pretty easily, and they usually are happy to sign whatever for you.

I’d imagine most teams are like this, but they’re the only team I’ve done it with.
