What do you do if if my camera says “re-insert memory card”?

I have a Sony 12x optical zoom Cyber-shot.
Whenever I turn it on, it keeps saying “re-insert memory card”.
I have re-inserted it about twenty times now.
So, help?
By the way, I don’t need any of the “JUST RE-INSERT IT AGAIN DUMBSHIT!”

Try using a different memory card. If that works you have a bad card. If that does not work, contact a Sony repair facility.
