How do you people on ebay know whats in a pack of 2010 TOPPS HERITAGE BASEBALL Jersey/Relic/Auto HOT PACK?

people on ebay are selling unpacks of baseball cards with a grantee of a getting a Jersey/Relic/Auto card how do they known its in there

There are three ways:

Thumbing or fanning where you run your thumb along the cards inside the pack trying to feel the extra thick card.

Thickness – only works for some older packs as the newer packs compensate.

Weight. In 2010 topps, the lightest pack in the box has the artifact card and the heaviest has the sketch card.

The first method can ruin the cards (well, damage anyway).

They cannot find an auto this way, they just say auto or relic because the autos are worth more. You are only get a relic card and unless they are using just the weight method, it may be damaged.
