Golf Travel Bags

As a new golfer, at the Orange High school, I am learning the hard way when it comes to packing away my irons and other supplies.Not all of the golf courses provide free golf carts to haul around our supplies.  On the course we face slopes and long windy paths.

It becomes rather cumbersome to schlep our bags through 18 holes. My wife and I travel too, so I need something that can weather the abuse of baggage handlers and my own bad handling habits.

I absolutely love this sport, but like anyone else cant help but wonder if there isn’t an easier way to be a successful golfer. Golf travel bags range from $99 and can exceed $3000.Cheap golf bags won’t really provide me with the comfort and durability that I demand.

I am just a beginner, but plan to be in this sport for the long haul. Tough materials like a heavy duty fabric, high abrasion, moisture and tear resistant with oversized in line skating wheels for even rolling action, highly durable rear skid plates to protect my bag when traveling in warm places.

I would also like a top handle that has a natural position that has a palm facing my body when I grab it. I might want to pull this thing all day long and not get worked over. This box needs to have enough room to fit heavy duty tour bag. Our four wheel golf cart will also carry a cart bag and any stand or carry bag. The rim of the golf bags needs to be well protected to protect my club heads and they need to be sufficient straps to secure my golf clubs into the travel bag.

My last set of clubs did not fare well on my last trip to Florida.Grant it, we switched rental cars twice and there were over 8 passengers. This makes for lots of other suite cases to get bump around in cargo.Her Callaway golf clubs are a silly obsession.I made a dumb decision and used a second hand bag that wasn’t strong enough to endure such abuse. First, your bag needs to be airline acceptable.Wouldn’t you like it to hold up to a 48-inch driver and hold your golf bag securely inside while walking around the grounds.It needs to be lightweight, high-density polyethylene hard case with a double thickness side impact support.  You should be able to collapse your travel bag to 24 inches for easy storage.One of the thorns in my foot with a poorly equipped golfing bag is a poorly designed and cumbersome bar.A well made easy to control top handle must be sturdy enough to handle for lifting.And, last but not least wide roller blade wheels provide for that smooth race from corridor to corridor.
