How do you best preserve or restore an autographed baseball???
My father has an autographed ball given to him by Al Kaline
and the signature is still quite visable, but it’s getting faded.
what should I do.. if anything??
i have around 100 auto’d baseballs. the best thing to do if you want to display it is get a uv coated ball cube. you can buy them at a sports card store or a di@cks sporting goods for a few dollars. if you dont intend to display it, keep it in a plastic sandwich ziplock bag. handle it as little as possible the oils in your hands can really damage and discolor the ball. also if you intend to display it keep it away from any window that would keep it in the direct sunlight for any extended period of time.
