In its signed petition to the King which rights did the First Continental Congress claim colonists had?
This question is on my homework packet and I have no clue what the answer is!! HELP ME!!
Benjamin Franklin delivered a Petition of the Continental Congress, dated October 26, 1774 and signed by fifty-one delegates to the Congress, to Britain’s King George III.

Melissa is close. What she is quoting is the Declaration of Rights, which the Congress did issue about two weeks earlier.
