How much does Don Larsen charge for an Autograph Through The Mail?
I have his price list which lists his prices, but in the past I have sent him my own items and 10 dollars and he would sign it. Last week I sent a 16×20 with 10 dollars and he sent back the photo with a note saying that it would cost 50 for him to sign it. Is this really what he is charging now?
Sounds like Mr. Larsen, at 80 years, is now too old to travel for more lucrative personal signing sessions and has increased his price for mailed autographs. He may also be trying to discourage such requests.
It would have taken just as much time to sign for a sure $10 as it did for him to respond the way he did to you. Guess when you get old, money is not an issue..?
Did he sign the note?
