A question for people who collect sports memorabilia?
I am kind of new to the whole sports memorabilia collecting game and need some advice. I have a signed Troy Aikman football and a signed Charles Haley football. I also have a signed football by Mel Renfro and Randy White.
My questions are as follows….
1. Did I make a mistake by getting two people to sign the same football? They were teammates in super bowl XII. Did the value of the football go down?
2. Jay Novacek is signing autographs THIS WEEKEND. What should I get him to sign? I can get a new football or get him to sign my Troy Aikman or Charles Haley.
3. I was kind of hoping to get my Troy Aikman signed by all three of the triplets. Is this a mistake? Should I just get them to sign three separate items? How does the value change?

The value will go up with more people on it but not as much as if they signed separate items. There will be people who are fans of them but not of another. if you get 3 separate footballs, you will maximise your income by getting top dollar for each.
