What size NHL hockey jersey should i get?

I’m 6 foot 3 , 171 lbs, but i know that hockey jerseys run big. idk if the size chart is right, so if anybody knows tell me what ya think. Also, I would rather it be too big then small

The sizing in the new Reebok EDGE premier jerseys is smaller than the older style CCM replica jerseys. The sleeves tend to be longer in the new EDGE style jerseys, so if you have longer arms, it won’t be a problem.
Since you are taller, I would recommend a size XL. Based on my personal experience, it is always better to wear an NHL jersey (or any kind of jersey) that fits loose, rather than tight.
I am a couple inches shorter than you and I wear a L or XL in the premier jerseys. So I think an XL would fit you fine. Here is a size chart if you want to know some measurements:
