How to get from Penn State to Quinnipiac University or Brooklyn, NY without a car?

I need to get from Penn State to either Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, or I need to go to Brooklyn, NY. I don’t have a car, so are there any trains or buses that could take me to either? Thanks!

Take the bus to Manhattan. To get to Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT., take Amtrak to Hamden from Grand Central Terminal, and then take a cab to the college. To get to Brooklyn from Manhattan, take the subway. I can’t give you more details because you didn’t say where in Brooklyn you want to go to.
