Phil Kessel’s Debut..?
So, tonight Phil Kessel made his debut as a Toronto Maple Leaf.
And in my opinion it wasn’t a bad one, actually it was quite a good one.
Lets take a look at his debut:
- 19 shots intended to the net.
- 10 of them were shots on net. (Career High for him)
- Got hit and was knocked to his feet in the first.
- Around 23 minutes on the ice
- Lost the game 2-1 in OT.
Even I was worrying about who was going to feed him the puck, but it seemed like that wasn’t really a huge problem. Then again it ‘s only one game and I’m not going to get carried away.
So what are your thoughts on Kessel’s Debut as a Leaf?

He played great, don’t forget its his first game of hockey in 6 months !… I am glad he shot every chance he got.. he is rusty.. I bet you he will scored next game
