What do you think of parent’s who put photo’s of their children as their display picture?
I Think its cute ^_^
But It Depends on the age.
I Think to have a photo of just your child gets abit odd once your child gets older than 6….What about you?
I know women who’s display photos are of her 14 year old daughter & Her 14 year old friend *_*
The fact is, once u put that photo on public display on the internet, whether its on your profile pic, or even in a social forum like facebook etc.
That photo is viewed by anyone who sees it. They can very well copy it , do anything they want with it . Simply because u have put it out there.
Some people might be content with doing that. By displaying their kids pictures. But inevitably what they dont know is who is viewing it and what they are doing with the picture.
The picture can be reproduced on the other side of the world , without them even knowing etc.
As a parent its like sticking your head in the sand and not wanting to know. If they are content with that. Its their choice. Personally i can not see the reason why they would want to put a picture of their kid on the internet.
If they have family overseas, theres no harm in just sending the picture direct to the people they know. But displaying the picture to any Tom, Dick, or Harry who they dont know is just not necessary.
WOULD those parents who display their kids pictures on the internet, walk out in the street in public and hand photos of their kids to absolute strangers walking by? I DONT THINK SO.
So why would they do it on the internet.
Does not make sense to me.
