Have you seen the leaked photo of the Sabres Third Jersey?
I was a little disapointed. I mean, I love that logo, but I don’t like the color blue, it’s too dark. Why wouldn’t they just do what they did two seasons ago and make a replica of the old blue and gold uniforms using the Reebok specs of course.

I really love the new colors and think that combining them with the old logo has made for a really great-looking jersey, if that is indeed the real third jersey. I like the throwbacks and original colors, too but I think that there’s a sophistication in the deeper blue and gold that was missing from the bright blue and yellow of the 70′s. I wouldn’t want to see anyone I love and respect dressed in clothes from the 70′s of any sort, and that includes my hockey team!
