What happened to todays society ?
I moved to USA in 2000, at the moment I was 10 years old. Currently, i am 21 years old, living in California. I speak Russian & English. Some of my friends go to schools, such as…UCLA, USC, UCSB & Chico. A lot of them got in with good grades. But in school a lot of them drink a lot, smoke weed, have huge raves with their frat groups, hook up with drunk girls from other frat groups. My friends call that ” work hard & play harder ”
My question is, who’s better off the people that go to university( like the ones I described ). Or be a guy that didn’t get into university, but he understands life better, doesn’t drink, doesn’t smoke, understands the consequences before he does something wrong. Who’s better off in your opinion ?
And these people suppose to be out future role models in USA, how should we look up to these ppl in future ?

Umm thats basically what every young person does is get drunk and sleep around with people. Yeah older people say that this generation is very smart and has potential to be great but we’re so lazy and effortless. I agree but there are also people like you who work hard and dont mess around. I think the guy who is happy in the end and hasnt acted like an a** is the one who is better off.
