Just what has happened?
could it be that fans and media live off hype more so than substanance?

As Dan pointed out……last year after 45 games, the Pens had 44 points…..Pens fans (and detractors) were yammering on about them and how the season was lost and I was the voice of REASON for them and told them that they had a good group and would turn it around and that is what great seasons are made of…….people sell out too fast, makes for some good old crow served cold. Funny, people were making ridiculous statements about rotten apples and whatnot with them too……keep your fork and knife handy.
