What is your opinion of the Boston advertisements criticizing Tampa Bay?
I don’t know if this has been asked before, but I figured I’d ask anyway…

I thought they were funny and in good humor. Tampa fans act as though they were deeply insulted. I’ve even heard it being compared to Lightning fans throwing “rally sticks” at Krejci after game 6. The Bruin ads were humorous, but throwing things at players is assault.
Anyway… Did the ads really need to be removed? Were Tampa fans really so insulted that they were crying themselves to sleep?
Boston fans did indeed throw towels onto the ice… However, I don’t think any were thrown at Tampa players. Even if it was, it’s a towel… Not a “rally stick”. Big difference in potential for an injury.
Montreal fans called 911 for Chara to be arrested…THAT takes the cake as far as over-reacting to a game goes…
But,crying over some ads is just as bad. I mean, really, do we think that the Lightning players are really impacted by or care about these ads? haha
As for the TB acting like DBs (douche bags), well, that is just pathetic. If someone next to me in Boston threw something onto the ice in an attempt to hit a player, I would slap them upside the head! Bruins fan or not. Dumb
