Is Robin Yount the only hall of famer to move from SS to CF?
When he was 28 he moved from SS to CF..Why?
Also is he the only hall of famer to do this?
Yount is the only one (so far) to move from shortstop to center to the Hall.
The only other HOFer with a career profile even remotely close is olde-tymer George Davis. He played CF his first two seasons with some spot infield work, played a few seasons at third, and then settled in at shortstop for most of the rest of his career, finishing up at second and a li’l bit at first.
