How to preserve autograph in Sharpie on ROMLB Official Major League Baseball?

Ok so I sent off for an autograph that I paid for, and just got it back today. I paid $15.00 for the ball and it is an authentic Rawlings Major League Baseball. Much to my distaste I realized when I got it back he signed it in sharpie. Now I have heard that sharpies bleed over time, and I have witnessed it on some cheap china wal-mart baseballs I have had. I also have a baseball that is signed in sharpie over 15 years ago and never bled at all. However, is there any tips or tricks to preserve it to keep it from bleeding? I have heard adhesive spray, also someone mentioned baking? I am not sure. I already have a clear plastic cube that I got for it. Is that a UV case? I honestly don’t remember when I got it. Thanks!

Keep the ball in a case or a holder…make sure the ball and the inside of the case/holder is clean. This worked for me when i hit my first home run. All my team signed it nd all the names are still legible from about 5-7 years ago. Ooh and also…don’t used cleaner or polish on the ball…well at least the autographed part. Just wipe the ball down with a dry…clean rag.
