My Story: an Inspirational Account
My story is an exciting autobiographical narration by the famous English F1 racing driver, Lewis Hamilton. Released on November 5, 2007, the book is about his life on and off the track, which is no less than a suspense story or thriller.
Born on January 7, 1985 in Hertfordshire, Hamilton has won several F1 championships and currently plays for McLaren team. At a young age, Hamilton has had quite an adventurous life that he is mentioned in the book.
In the book “My Story”, the young race for the first time opens up about his sensational debut season. The autobiographical narrative includes a detailed account on how he started off and his impressive win in the 2007 F1 World Championship. He talks about his father, his childhood, hardships and achievements. Hamilton created records by winning one after another races in countries like in Canada, Hungary, America and in Japan. He also led the driver’s Championship.
Hamilton, an eminent name in F1 jots down his experiences as a beginner in the book. He speaks how he fought all the hardships as a child and went on to become a F1 superstar from go-karting player.
My Story reveals some fascinating events in the life of an F1 racer. Hamilton’s life took a turn forever when he approached Ron Dennis, the team boss of McLaren. The suit that he wore on his first meeting with the team boss was borrowed. Nothing made young Lewis look behind anymore. He touched heights that he always dreamt of. “My Story” is a true story of the journey of a junior level racer to a formula1 super star.
Lewis talks about his father’s sacrifices to bring him up. Anthony, Hamilton’s dad fought with all odds to shape his career and to bring him up to this level. The racing superstar puts down how he copes up with various physical and mental challenges and traveling blues. He recollects his experience in the 2007 F1 World Championship. The book is all about how to make it big in spite of hurdles and is extremely inspirational. My Story is a must read for all who look forward to reading true inspirational work.
