wHO HERE THINKS Saku Koivu IS TOTALLY OVERRATED?
he may give good leadership and all but his stats suck .
Career high goals-this year a measly 22. Career high points-this year 71. All this to go with his -21. I think overrated is an understatement. 15 goals and 50 points on average STINKS, some Dmen get way more than that every year and he gets lots of ice time and PP time. Brutal actually.
For that matter, I think his leadership skills are overrated too. I think the whole battling the cancer thing endeared him to some but he is definitely not that good for a 1st line player, actually one of the worst. I have always said this, the guy has terrible offensive ability. Good point.
