i pre ordered black ops? royal mail signed for delivery?
i pre orderd hardened edition. and i will be getting it on release date 9-11-10. 
i will not be home that day and the delivery is signed for what time would you think ill receive it thanks.
It will arrive the same time your postman usually delivers letters to your door… that varies from area to area so nobody can tell you what time it will arrive. I get my post at around 10am… yours could be much earlier or much later.
If you are out they will leave a card saying you can go collect it at your local post office or sorting office. If you do that I think you will need a form of ID though to prove you are the person it is meant to be delivered to.. like a bank card with your name on it.
