what should my first payment of JSA be?
I signed on to Job Seekers Allowance on 27/5/10 and have been signing on since,
Today (8/06/10) i receieved my first payment of £7.41. Is this correct? I thought i would get a lot more. I received a letter from JSA people yesterday saying i will be getting £52 every 2 weeks.
When you sign on you will be put in a group and in that group they all sign on a certain day and get paid on a certain day. You must have signed on mid way in the group that you have been placed so you only get money for a couple of days.
The next time you sign on it would all have sorted out as normal. You will sign on every two weeks then get paid accordingly.
