Are the stl cardinals screwed after next year?
FIrstly im a cards fan
ok so the signed holliday to a contract bigger than alberts
alberts contract is up after this coming season
how will they afford to sign him unless they give up some good pitcher or something
i imagine they dont make it to the WS this year Alberts gonna ask for a lot to stay with the cards next year
so whats gonna happen
What’s gonna happen is:
1. LaRussa will retire at the end of ’10
2. Albert will flee as a free agent and………
3. Cubs will be winning the NL Central and then the World Series for the next several years.
