What should I expect on my first day of college at a regular 4 year university?
Also, what should I bring with me on my first day? And when do you normally register for classes? What should I do to make sure I am prepared?
The first day of class usually consists of the professor handing out the syllabus and going over the course content and his or her expectations of you as a student. Sometimes there might be a brief intro lecture so make sure you bring a notebook and a pen/pencil or a laptop computer with you. A good thing, if you have more than once class in a row, is to bring folders with you so you can start to organize your class documents and not get anything mixed up.
