I sthe song “Time to Go” by the Dropkick Murphys a reference to the NHL’s Boston Bruins?
It says go black and gold— the colors of the Boston Bruins, and the song is about the team being on the ice, and the Dropkick Murphys are from the Boston area. Could that team the Boston Bruins?
Just for the record, don’t think i like the Boston Bruins. The real Bruins are the UCLA Bruins. When it comes to NHL, I like the Kings.
Yeah, they are big fans of local Boston teams (their song “Tessie” is an old Red Sox song and the video was shot in Fenway). They played a concert at the Fleet center following a Bruins-Canucks game a year or two ago and some Bruin players joined them on stage during the show. You can see a commercial for it that has the band on the ice with players at www.dropkickmurphys.com under the videos section. “Time to go” is playing in the background.
