How do I play a Legend pokemon card?

Now these days, there are these Legend pokemon cards, which are two cards as one (the top half and the bottom half), Do I have to play the one of the halves in my bench or do I have to wait till I have both halves in my hand and play both halves in my bench? How do these Legend pokemon cards work.
Yes. You have to play both halves at once. =)
