I just got an autograph with an authenticity # and I don't know how to check it, anybody know?

I just received a Taylor swift autograph and it came with a 6 digit authenticity number. Is there a website or something that i can go on to see if my autograph is real? I think it is, but i don't exactly know what you use the authenticity number for. Please help, 10 points to best answer ! Thanks !

Depending upon what website or company gave you the authenticity number really would decide whether or not you can verify it. If you cannot find any type of company name on it I cannot be sure. If it says something like DNS, PSA/JSA, JSA, GAI, or SC then I would be able to tell you it is 99% authentic. The fake autographs business takes up 80% of the market, so it would be very hard to determine the authenticity. I collect autographs but cannot completely answer your question because I have never worked with an authenticity company before. To find the BEST answers from other collectors go to the forums I use for autograph collectinng. Go to:

And go to their forums. Join the forums (my username is Sasorikiller there). And then go to the section for "Is it authentic?" Try to supply scans or images of the autographs as well for them to assess the authenticity of the item.
